LIL WAYNE NAMED TOP RAP TOUR STAR

LIL WAYNE has proved he is King of the hip-hop world - he has been named the highest grossing touring rapper, raking in $42 million (£28 million) in the last year (08-09).
The rapper beat out competition from heavyweights Jay-Z and Kanye West to the crown, after playing 78 shows between December (08) and September (09).
The 99 Problems hitmaker claimed second spot, taking $34.6 million (£23 million) from his 28 concerts with Mary J. Blige last year.
West's 2008 Glow In the Dark tour came third - his 49 gigs pulled in $30.8 million (£20.5 million), according to figures from Billboard.
