Mtv - Lil' Kim Seeks Record Company Escape

Freshly released rapper LIL' KIM is desperate for reports she's been ditched by her record company to come true. The hip-hop star - who left prison last month (JUL06) after serving 10 months of a 366-day sentence for perjury - is currently signed to Atlantic Records. But the 31-year-old is keen for her contract to be renegotiated or, even better, terminated. Her lawyer L LONDELL MCMILLAN tells MTV, "We are having discussions which I cannot confirm the details (of) at this time. "However, we do wish Atlantic would release and simply free Kim."
