LIL' KIM NAMED IN $2.5 MILLION LAWSUIT
Rapper LIL' KIM has been named in a $2.5 million (GBP1.3 million) lawsuit over claims she has breached her record contract.
Brookland Media filed a lawsuit at Manhattan's state Supreme Court in New York on Tuesday (07Oct08) claiming she refused to fulfil her contractual requirements.
Company bosses allege they spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on recordings, equipment and advance payments only for her to record a "few tracks".
Lil' Kim's lawyer, Londell MCMillan, says Brookland have taken legal action "to leverage their own position" in the contract dispute.
