LIL' CHRIS CELEBRATES CHART SUCCESS WITH NEW WHEELS

Rock newcomer LIL' CHRIS has bought a moped to celebrate the chart success of his debut single CHECKIN' IT OUT. The 16-year-old singer, real name CHRIS HARDMAN, moved up from 10 to three on the UK singles chart yesterday (01OCT06). He first won admirers on KISS rocker GENE SIMMONS' reality TV show ROCK SCHOOL. He says, "To be at number three is amazing. I decided to buy myself a ped to celebrate. "It's a specially designed cream and orange Vespa style - and it's got my name on it."
