LIBERTINES SET FOR 2010 REUNION
British band THE LIBERTINES will reform next year (10), according to frontman PETE DOHERTY.
Doherty was fired in 2004 following a series of rows with bandmate Carl Barat over the troubled star's drug use - and the band subsequently split.
The pair, along with drummer Gary Powell, put their problems behind them and reunited for an impromptu gig in London last month (May09).
And now Doherty is looking forward to a full Libertines reunion, with bassist John Hassall, in 2010.
He tells British newspaper The Sun, "Definitely next year, we will do it."
