LEVY GRABS ANOTHER SLICE OF AMERICAN PIE

Funnyman EUGENE LEVY is set for another piece of AMERICAN PIE - he has signed on to star in the sixth film in the comedy franchise. Levy will become the only original American Pie star who has appeared in all the films when straight-to-DVD movie American Pie Presents: Beta House is released at Christmas (07). The film, which is currently shooting in Canada, is the follow-up to other DVD-only releases, American Pie Presents: Band Camp and American Pie Presents: The Naked Mile. The previous two American Pie installments rank at numbers one and three on the list of best-selling live-action, non-family direct-to-video/DVD releases. The first three American Pie movies have made an estimated $350 million (GBP175 million) at the box office.
