The Mirror reports that Janet Edwards, who worked with the X FACTOR winner since the age of eight, has decided to launch a school for budding-Leonas near Nice on the French Riviera.
It's being backed by Greek property tycoon Andrew Charalambous and is due to open next year, the publication added.
"Janet thinks Leona is amazing and wants to give other young people a chance to become a star," a source told the newspaper.
"But she'll have to get permission from Leona's manager if she plans on creating mini-Leonas."
A spokesperson for the singer added that Leona is "grateful" for Janet's contribution to her career but did not know about plans for a school.
Since winning X FACTOR in 2006, Leona has topped the charts both at home and on the other side of the Atlantic becoming the first UK female solo artist to do so since KIM WILDE 21 years ago.
Meanwhile, it was recently reoprted that Leona and her boyfriend Lou Al-Chama were having difficulty purchasing a property in her native London due to rising costs.
However, her mentor SIMON COWELL has stepped in and solved her housing woes by buying her a £2.5 million mansion in Beverley Hills to use as a US base.
