LEONA TO TOP CHARTS
Leona Lewis looks set to have the biggest-selling single of the year, with new release Bleeding Love.
The X-Factor winner's single is currently flying off the shelves, according to HMV.
"It's turning out to be a massive week for singles sales," said HMV spokesman Gennaro Castaldo. Leona Lewis' Bleeding Love' is outselling Take That by two to one and the rest of the top 10 combined, and is on course to top 200,000 sales by the end of the week if stores can keep it in stock.
"It's without doubt the fastest-selling single of the year."
A chart-topping entry for Bleeding Love would make Leona the first X-Factor winner to score a second UK number one single, after Shayne Ward's No U Hang Up/If That's Ok With You double A-side was narrowly beaten to the top spot by Sugababes' About You Now.
Leona's first single A Moment Like This - a cover of American Idol winner Kelly Clarkson's debut release - sold over a million copies.
Other new entries to this weekend's top ten are expected to include Oasis' new single Lord Don't Slow Me Down and You Better Not Waste My Time by N-Dubz.
