LENNOX STILL FIGHTING TRAPPED NERVE TROUBLE
ANNIE LENNOX is still fighting the fall-out from her spinal trapped nerve, which forced her to scrap the release of her COLLECTION album last summer (08).
The former Eurythmics star is getting ready to release her greatest hits LP seven months late, and admits she's still struggling to walk.
Lennox tells Billboard.com, "I still have a constantly numb left foot, and I limp quite a bit.
"Hopefully in the next six months it might improve some; it's hard to say. It's a bit of a drag, pardon the pun, but you just have to learn to live with it."

I didn't know that a screen name was to be made up. I thought it was to be your
name. Anyway I remembered one other thing about my surgery. I am a high school
teacher, so I couldn't afford a physiotherapist. It was the 2nd day and the
Dr.'s want me up and moving. I practiced the 1st day around my house and then
the 2nd I went out and sat on my front porch staring down the driveway. It
seemed a 100yds long when actually it is about 10. I was terrified. What if I
got down the driveway and couldn't make it back up. Was I going to crawl on my
stomach? Anyway after the kind of surgery we had it is difficult to look things
in the same light. Such as getting out of bed. I hope you are improving and
the walks don't seem as daunting.

I went through back surgery about 4 years ago. One rupture disc and 2 bulging
into my sciatic nerve. All I can say is do your back exercises every day or 2x.
I still do mine every day because I never want to fill that pain AGAIN!!.
