LEMONHEADS STAR PROMISES TO SHOW UP AT GIGS

LEMONHEADS leader EVAN DANDO is making a promise to fans - he'll show up on time and clean and sober for shows. The IT'S A SHAME ABOUT RAY rocker's career has been dogged by reports of acid-tinged shows, no-shows and even one where he showed up stoned, in his pyjamas, and played just a handful of songs before stumbling offstage. Nine years after disbanding the Lemonheads, Dando has recruited two pals and is hitting the road again under his old moniker and he insists this time he'll be on his best behaviour. Dando says, "I want to be consistent and be on time and be a professional. I realise it's not about missing the show because you're on acid. "It's about playing really good shows and building some momentum and giving people some entertainment."
