LEMMY: 'ROCK 'N' ROLL WILL NEVER DIE'

MOTORHEAD frontman LEMMY has dismissed speculation rock music is becoming increasingly irrelevant - insisting the genre will never die. The Ace Of Spades veteran admits he gets irritable when people suggest otherwise. He tells website Snuff.co.nz, "People sometimes suggest rock 'n' roll is dead, but it will never die, because it's always exciting to hear a decent rock 'n' roll song. "Look at AC DC, man. They're still as f**king excellent as they were when they started out, all them years ago. ZZ Top are another one. They just keep finding great riffs. "There's something about a great guitar riff that moves both your body and your soul. It speaks to something basic, you know. It gets in you. That's never going to change."
