LEE: 'UK MOVIE SCENE IS IN MAJOR TROUBLE'
Screen legend CHRISTOPHER LEE has slammed the British movie industry, insisting actors are resigned to taking jobs they hate just to keep working. The STAR WARS actor, 83, is staggered by the amount of unemployment amongst actors, and believes the UK film business is finally on its knees. He says, "It is in self-destruct mode at the moment. "There is so much unemployment. I reckon 80-85 per cent of British actors would say yes to any part."
