LEDGER INSPIRES U.S. TV DRAMA

Late actor HEATH LEDGER's tragic death has reportedly inspired a new episode of U.S. TV crime drama LAW + ORDER.
The show is notorious for basing its plots on headlining-grabbing events in New York - where the series is filmed.
And its newest inspiration comes in an upcoming episode that is "supposed to be about Heath Ledger", reports the New York Post.
A show insider explains the plot stars a male model who "has a great career and gets all the ladies (and) leaves a club with a girl".
The source adds, "They have sex and do drugs, and the next morning, his friend finds him dead."
Ledger died from a prescription drug overdose in January (08).

It says this episode was "inspired by", not "we're recreating the whole incident minute by minute."

ACCIDENTAL prescription overdose... but... That episode to me does not sound even remotely like what happened the night before or the morning of Heath's passing. Heath was sick with the flu, went to the grocers, bought some fruit, went home, scheduled a massage for the next day, then got a call from a friend who asked him to come out that night. But he was too tired and not feeling well, so he told his friend to call him the next morning and wake him up, and they'd get together. Then he went to bed early. There were NO illegal drugs or alcohol in either his system or in his apartment. And according to the medical examiner's autopsy report (the FULL report, not the statement to the press), the prescription doses in his system were LOWER THAN THE PRESCRIBED DOSES. (which even led the M.E. to question whether it could have been natural causes.) Therefore, given the facts of the case, this tv episode does not sound remotely like Heath's circumstances.
