LED ZEP CONFIRM REUNION GIG

Legendary rockers Led Zeppelin have confirmed that they will be reforming for a one-off show.

The band convened a press conference to announce plans to get back together for a gig at London's O2 Arena.

Singer Robert Plant, guitarist Jimmy Page and bassist John Paul Jones will appear on stage together for a concert for the first in 19 years.

They will be accompanied by Jason Bonham, the son of original quartet member John Bonham, who died in 1980.

The show will take place on November 26th and will also include fellow rock legends Pete Townshend; Bill Wyman and the Rhythm Kings; and Foreigner, of whom Bonham Jr is also a bandmember.

Tickets cost £125 each and will be distributed by ballot, with fans only able to get their hands on two each.

All the proceeds from the gig will go to international scholarship charity Ahmet Ertegun Education Fund.

Led Zeppelin follow in the footsteps of other fellow 80s legends Genesis and The Police, who have also reformed for reunion tours.

But tickets for this one-off gig are set to outstrip demand to a huge extent, with the band's followers expected to apply in their droves.
