LEBANESE SINGER FOUND DEAD

Lebanese singer SUZANNE TAMIM has been found dead at her home in the United Arab Emirates.
The star's body was discovered on Monday (28Jul08) in the city of Dubai, with media reports suggesting she suffered multiple stab wounds and mutilation to her face.
Tamim shot to fame in Lebanon in 1996 after winning a TV talent show, but her music career was marred by her troubled personal life.
She was reported to have fled to Egypt in 2007 and subsequently moved to Dubai following a series of bitter legal battles with her estranged second husband, music producer Adel Maatouk.
Police have launched an investigation into Tamim's death.
