LEARY MISTAKEN FOR DAFOE, GETS FREE STRIP CLUB ENTRY
Actor DENIS LEARY was delighted to be granted free entry to a New York strip club recently - because the doorman thought he was WILLEM DAFOE.
Leary was looking at potential locations for U.S. television show Rescue Me, when the fortunate mix-up occurred.
He says, "I was scouting a strip club for Rescue Me and walked up and told the bouncer we were there to scout for this project.
"And the guy said, 'I know, man - Spider-Man.' We got in for free because the bouncer thought I was Willem Dafoe."
