LEACHMAN TO RETURN FOR YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN MUSICAL

Actress CLORIS LEACHMAN will reprise her FRAU BLUCHER character from the cult 1974 movie YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN for the 2007 stage musical. The 80-year-old actress is the only original cast member from the MEL BROOKS comedy to return for the stage production, which will open on Broadway next Hallowe'en (31OCT07). KRISTIN CHENOWETH, BRYAN D'ARCY JAMES and ROGER BART are also slated to star in the musical, in roles played on the big screen by TERI GARR, GENE WILDER and MARTY FELDMAN, respectively.
