LE BON: 'I NEVER THOUGHT WE'D WORK WITH TIMBERLAKE'

DURAN DURAN star SIMON LE BON was elated when JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE stepped into the studio to record a song with his band - because he never believed talk of a collaboration would come to fruition. The chart-topping solo star requested to work with his childhood heroes, but Le Bon was convinced they wouldn't find the time to get creative together. So when Timberlake found a gap in his schedule to help write, produce and perform Nite-Runner with the British veterans, it took them all by surprise. Le Bon says, "Justin told us his favourite song was Ordinary World when he was 14. He said he'd like to work with us, and we said, 'Yeah, great.' But knowing his and our schedules, we never dreamt anything would come out of it so soon."
