LAWRENCE BLASTS LAWSUIT CLAIM

THE RACONTEURS bass player 'LITTLE' JACK LAWRENCE has blasted claims he has launched legal action against an ex-girlfriend to claw back $10,000 (GBP6,670) in unpaid rent.
Reports surfaced earlier this week (begs01Dec08) alleging the rocker had filed suit in Nashville, Tennessee against a woman known only as Kelly.
It was alleged he was seeking unpaid rent from the woman following their break-up after 10 years together.
But Lawrence has now categorically denied taking legal action against the mystery woman.
A spokesperson for the band said: "The item regarding Jack Lawrence from The Raconteurs... is 100 per cent untrue. It's unsubstantiated garbage."
