LAVIGNE TO LIGHTEN UP STRESSFUL TOUR SCHEDULE

AVRIL LAVIGNE insists she will tone things down when she tours next year (07), after enduring two solid years on the road promoting her last album. The singer endured a crazy schedule while promoting her second album UNDER MY SKIN and now that she's newly married to SUM 41 singer DERYCK WHIBLEY she wants more balance in her life. She says of her last tour, "That was too exhausting. It's so abnormal to be in a different city every day and not have a sense of home or comfort of the same bed to go to every night. "And when you're away too long it's really hard to adjust when you get back. "It's like, 'OK, now what do I do when I wake up?' or 'Oh, I can't just pick up the phone and order room service, I have to go downstairs and f**king make it?!' "Even now that I've been off tour for months, I have piles of laundry..." She adds jokingly, "Maybe I need my mom to do it!"
