LAUNTER FIGHTS TO KEEP ROLE IN TWILIGHT SEQUEL
TWILIGHT star TAYLOR LAUTNER is hitting the gym in a desperate attempt to convince the movie's producers he should reprise his role in the forthcoming sequel.
Launter has yet to be signed to star in New Moon, due for release in 2009, reportedly because franchise bosses fear he's not strong enough for the role.
But the 18-year-old is desperate to keep the part of Jacob.
Lautner tells MTV News, "I have been working out. I've been working out since the day we finished filming Twilight. I just weighed myself and I've put on 19 pounds."
To sell himself further, Lautner adds he is "guaranteeing (New Moon director Chris) Weitz 10 more (pounds) by filming."
Fellow cast mate Ashley Greene is cheering him on saying, "We all love Taylor. He's such a sweet guy, and I think that he understands the part."

taylor h8tr, or whatever the hell your name is; u better shut the f**k up about
Taylor! I'm trying all I can to keep him in; I'm making a damn petition that's
gonna have 150-200 names on it, to try and convince the directors or whatever
from twilight to keep him on. If i can, i'll go higher!I won't even go to the
movie if Taylor isn't in the movie! U just shut up, and stay away. Taylor
doesn't need haters; he needs supporters! So go away, and leave him alone!
Taylor, you're fantastic, and the only one who could do Jacob! That's so unfair
that they are going to kick you out, just because they believe you're not
"physically mature". Just keep fighting, and I'll keep forming my petition, and
find an email I can send it to, to let the directors see how many people would
hate it if you weren't there.

AHHHHHHHHH!!! i HOPE taylor gets kicked out! im tired of all the preps gushing
over his hottness! they NEED a good dose of sadness. AND HE IS SO UGLY IM TIRED
