LANSBURY FIRES OFF HARD-HITTING MESSAGE IN TV AD

MURDER, SHE WROTE star ANGELA LANSBURY has literally dodged a bullet in a hard-hitting new ad campaign for the ALS Association in its bid to solve the mysteries of Lou Gehrig's disease (amyotrophic lateralsclerosis).
The actress, who lost her sister to the paralysing killer illness, steps out of the way of the bullet at the last minute in the TV ad.
She says, "We use the bullet as a metaphor and it's a very apt one.
"With ALS, you don't really know where it comes from, and you don't know when it might hit.
"It's a terrible disease and I wanted to get on board and help to make the American public aware how desperate the need for research is."
