LANSBURY BLASTS YOUNG FILM STARS

Veteran actress ANGELA LANSBURY has hit out at the "fast food films" of Hollywood, insisting today's young screen stars won't be remembered in years to come. The MURDER, SHE WROTE star, 81, is appalled at the quality of acting she has seen of late, and believes many of Tinseltown's newer talents will not experience the career longevity she and actors like JACK NICHOLSON have enjoyed. She tells PageSix.com, "Movies today are like fast food. Today's names won't become legendary and lead into the next generation. "Jack Nicholson is more part of the old crowd, and he'll stay. As will LEONARDO DiCAPRIO, who's like a (MARLON) BRANDO."
