LAMBERT HONOURED BY TEXAS HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES
Country star MIRANDA LAMBERT has been honoured in her home state with a framed copy of a resolution from the Texas House Of Representatives.
The singer received the gift at a ceremony in her hometown of Lindale on Wednesday (20Jun07).
State Representative Tommy Merritt presented Lambert with the proclamation, which details her career triumphs.
Merritt described Lambert as "yet another of the inspired musicians to hail from the Lone Star State", reports website CMT.com.
