LADY SOVEREIGN FINED FOR SPITTING

British rapper LADY SOVEREIGN has been fined $350 (£220) for spitting in the face of a bouncer in Australia.
The 23-year-old star - real name Louise Amanda Harman - was arrested in the early hours of Friday (25Sep09) for being drunk and disorderly at The Beat nightclub in Brisbane.
She spent the rest of the evening in a police cell and appeared at Brisbane Magistrates Court on Saturday morning (26Sep09), where she was ordered to pay a fine of 400 Australian dollars.
The star took to her Twitter.com page soon after the incident to lash out at the city's officials. She wrote: "Brisbane police need to go catch some REAL criminals... what a waste."
