LADY GAGA HAS POKER FACE TO BEAT CHART RIVALS

New York star Lady GaGa has retained the UK number one spot with Poker Face for a second week.

The singer - real name Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta - scored her second British number one single last week and saw off the challenge of the Noisettes' Don't Upset the Rhythm, which debuted at number two.

In the album chart, Boyzone's Ronan Keating held the top spot with Songs For My Mother while Kings of Leon climbed one place to second with their fourth album Only By The Night.

The Pet Shop Boys, recent winners of the outstanding contribution award at the Brits, entered the chart at number four with their new release Yes.
