Nick Lachey - Lachey: 'Taking The High Road Helped With Divorce'

NICK LACHEY is glad he behaved in a dignified manner during his divorce from JESSICA SIMPSON, because he didn't want to look back and regret any of his actions. Lachey received Cosmopolitan magazine's Fun, Fearless Male of the Year Award on Monday (22JAN07) and had some advice for people who might be in a similar situation. He said, "You have to always have a good perspective and a good attitude and always take the high road. You never want to look back and regret the way you acted." He tells American publication People, "Certainly I had some tough times in the past year. Hopefully I tried always to take the high road and make the most of the situation." The singer, 33, split from Simpson in November 2005, and is now dating TV presenter VANESSA MINNILLO.
