LABEOUF'S FAME FEARS

Actor SHIA LABEOUF is so terrified of fading into obscurity, he parks his bicycle next to busy streets - hoping passers-by will recognise him.
The 23 year old shot to fame with a string of box office hits, including Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull and Transformers.
But he still feels overwhelmed by feelings of insecurity - and when he is feeling particularly low, he boosts his ego by sitting on his bike until a fan spots him.
He tells Parade magazine, “I don’t handle fame well. Most actors on most days don’t think they’re worthy. I have no idea where this insecurity comes from, but it’s a God-sized hole. If I knew, I’d fill it, and I’d be on my way."
And LaBeouf admits he fears his rising star could suddenly fall - leaving him with no Hollywood career: "Sometimes I feel I’m living a meaningless life and I get frightened. I know I’m one of the luckiest dudes in America right now. I have a great house. My parents don’t have to work. I’ve got money. I’m famous. But it could all change, man. It could go away. You never know.”
