LA TOYA SIGNED UP FOR BB AFTER PULLING OUT OF JUNGLE

LA TOYA JACKSON signed up for the latest series of CELEBRITY BIG BROTHER after pulling out of a deal to star in rival reality show I'M A CELEBRITY...GET ME OUT OF HERE.

However, she changed her mind about going into the jungle after seeing video footage of the famous bushtucker trials celebrities face, reports the Sun.

It is also reported that ITV's producers asked La Toya too many questions about her famous sibling MICHAEL JACKSON.

A source told the newspaper: "When she realised she might have to eat kangaroo testicles that was it."

One of La Toya's other brothers, JERMAINE JACKSON, has already appeared on CELEBRITY BIG BROTHER.

The BIG BROTHER house opens its doors to a host of new celebrities today (January 2nd), with Hollywood actor VERNE TROYER, TV presenter ULRIKA JOHNSON, model LUCY PINDER and former SUGABABES songstress MUTYA BEUNA joining La Toya in the house.

It has been reported that despite the alleged racist bullying of Bollywood star SHILPA SHETTY in the last series of CELEBRITY BIG BROTHER the show will not be "sanitised" for its return to the small screen.

"We've got procedures in place so we can cope with any eventuality," said David Williams, Channel 4 commissioning editor.
