KYLIE TO TRAIN X FACTOR FINALISTS

Pop star Kylie Minogue will train finalists of the X Factor for a week in the next series of the hit show, according to reports.

Contestants will get personal training sessions with the 39-year-old pop star who will teach them to sing some of her hits and prepare them for the final stages of the show.

Reports in the Daily Mirror said that Kylie had been persuaded to take part in the show by her sister, Dannii, who is set to replace Louis Walsh as a judge on the show.

Speaking about Kylie joining the programme, an X Factor insider told the paper: "Dannii knew Kylie would be perfect as a coach for the show. She's a superstar and it's a chance in a lifetime for the contestants to learn from such a pro."

Dannii Minogue will join Simon Cowell, Sharon Osbourne and Grease Is The Word judge Brian Friedman in the new series of the show which will begin in August.

The new series will also feature a ‘Kylie Week’ and ITV bosses hope the new four-judge format and the presence of the sisters will maintain viewers’ interest in the talent contest.

Kylie's recording career began in 1987 when she released her first single, a remake of the 1960s hit ‘Locomotion’. Kylie has released 12 albums in her career and her last studio album, Body Language, achieved platinum status.
