KYLIE PLANS MANILOW TRIBUTE
Australian pop star KYLIE MINOGUE is planning to pay tribute to veteran singer BARRY MANILOW on her upcoming European tour. The Spinning Around hitmaker is reportedly working on a performance of Manilow's classic hit Copacabana for the KylieX2008 tour which kicks off in Paris on 6 May (08). According to British newspaper the Daily Star, the song will be a major part of the star's live shows. A source tells the publication, "One of the key moments in the production is when Kylie sings a rendition of Barry Manilow's Copacabana. "It's very theatrical. It all ties in nicely with Kylie's love of showgirls." Minogue's tour includes 53 dates across Europe which will conclude with a six-night residency at London's O2 Arena, ending on 2 August (08).

THINK THIS TRIBUTE IS MORE FOR THE GENEROUS HEART AND SOUL HE HAS. OF COURSE WITHOUT
HIS MUSIC'S SUCCESS HE COULDN'T ACHIEVED ANY CHARITABLE AID...BUT HOW MANY PEOPLE

FOR OLD AND NEW SINGERS.MANILOW'S TRIBUTE WILL BE AN UNFORGETTABLE RECOGNITION TO
THE MAN AND THE MUSICIAN.IT'S HARD TO STILL STANDING IN THE MUSIC'S WORLD WHEN SINGERS
