KYLIE MINOGUE'S AMERICAN IDOL ALBUM

Kylie Minogue is set to team up with 'American Idol' judges Paula Abdul and Kara DioGuardi - who previously wrote her hit 'Spinning Around' - for her next album.

Kylie Minogue is to team up with 'American Idol' judges Paula Abdul and Kara DioGuardi on her next album.

The Australian pop singer previously worked with Paula and Kara on her 2000 hit 'Spinning Around' - which re-launched her career, and made it to number one in the UK and Australian singles charts.

A source told Britain's Daily Star newspaper: "Kylie will be in the US on a mini-tour at the end of the summer and she hopes to record some new music with American friends around those dates.

"She already has loads of ideas for album number 11."

'Spinning Around' - which was originally co-written by Kara, who has also produced hits for Pink, Kelly Clarkson, Miley Cyrus and Celine Dion - was originally intended to be the single to re-start Paula's career.

However, the 46-year-old star decided to take a break from singing to become a judge on TV talent show 'American Idol'.

The 'Straight Up' singer is planning another assault on the charts this year and reportedly has a number of ideas left over which could work for Kylie.

The source added: "Paula has just completed her new album and has bags of songs left.

"The ideal thing would be to try and repeat the success of 'Spinning Around'."

Kylie's tour of the US starts in California on September 30.

Yawn-more mundane music from the flat toned, nasally challenged, over rated pop babe then.Last one flopped on less than a million copies sold. How long at 41 can she keep the camp nonsense going.?
