KRAVITZ PLANS LONG ACTING CAREER

LENNY KRAVITZ is determined to carve out a career as a serious actor - he has signed up for a string of movie roles following his acting debut.
The rocker steps onto the big screen for the first time alongside Mariah Carey in Push: Based on the Novel by Sapphire, which is due for release in November (09).
And Kravitz reveals he already has more film work lined up - he is set to take his first lead role in a new movie from Push director Lee Daniels, as well as an outing in a new picture called Novella.
He tells Britain's Glamour magazine, "(The first film) was more or less a test because the director wants me to be the lead in his next film. So we thought it would be good to give it a go first and see."
