KORN ALBUM INSPIRED BY DAVIS' BRUSH WITH DEATH

KORN's new album Untitled was inspired by frontman JONATHAN DAVIS' battle with a deadly disease. Last year (06) the rocker was struck down with idiopathic thrombocytopenia purpura, which stopped his blood from clotting. It almost killed him and now Davis used the experience to create the new LP. He says, "I almost died. Death was completely on my mind when I was writing the lyrics for the new record. It really made me think about life, where it's been and where it's going. "While I was sick, all I could think about was that I might die and then my sons would be growing up without a dad. That was really hard."
