KNOXVILLE'S CASH CABIN INSPIRES COUNTRY STAR WATSON

Country star DALE WATSON conjured up the spirit of his hero JOHNNY CASH on his new album by recording it in the icon's former cabin home. Watson asked his pal JOHNNY KNOXVILLE, who now owns the Tennessee home, if he could spend time with him working on FROM THE CRADLE TO THE GRAVE. And when the DUKES OF HAZZARD star agreed, the singer/songwriter got to work. He says, "I got up there and basically wrote 10 songs in three days. At first, I was adamant about not writing anything even remotely reminiscent to Johnny Cash as I figured I'd be instantly dismissed for trying to copy his vibe, but his presence was so strong up there that I decided, 'Why fight it?'"
