KNOTS LANDING CAST GETS TOGETHER AGAIN ON TV
The cast of beloved soap KNOTS LANDING reunited on U.S. TV on Thursday (28Feb08) morning. Actors Michele Lee, Joan Van Ark, Donna Mills and Kevin Dobson got together again on network NBC's Today to reminisce about shooting the show, which ran from 1979 to 1993. Co-star Ted Shackelford joined in the New York studio conversation via live satellite link-up from Los Angeles. Lee said, "Our show was a show of a certain time - it wasn't political, but it said so much in so many ways. In terms of a political arena, we had an African-American family next door - it was not mentioned, it was just done. "We did things like that on Knots Landing. We did unexpected things. We were at a moment. We were about where America was."
