KINGS OF LEON INSPIRED BY GERE MOVIE

The love theme from RICHARD GERE's hit movie AN OFFICER + A GENTLEMAN was the odd inspiration for KINGS OF LEON's latest hit USE SOMEBODY.
Frontman Caleb Followill has revealed that, when slowed down, his new song sounds like Up Where We Belong, the signature track from the film.
Followill explains, "The melody just kind of happened. If you slow it down it sounds like 'Love lift us up where we belong'.
"I played that and was mumbling words. Then I started singing, 'You know that I could use somebody'."
