Actor VAL KILMER owes $538,858 (£359,239) to the U.S. government in unpaid taxes, according to reports.
The Batman Forever star is being chased for the debt by America's Internal Revenue Service (IRS).
A request for the federal taxes was filed on 15 July (09) in New Jersey - despite Kilmer, who hails from Los Angeles, living in New Mexico for the last 20 years.
