KILLERS CREATE FESTIVE TRACK

Rockers THE KILLERS have been inspired by pop legend GEORGE MICHAEL to try for a Christmas number one. The MR BRIGHTSIDE hitmakers are huge fans of WHAM! classic LAST CHRISTMAS and headed back to the studio last week (ends19NOV06) to try and replicate the festive sound for themselves. Singer BRANDON FLOWERS says, "There are some great Christmas tunes that have been recorded over the years from the likes of George Michael and JOHN LENNON. "Sometimes you forget. You get so caught up in business and being an adult that you forget to have fun and enjoy things and be nice to people." A GREAT BIG SLEIGH will be released next month (DEC06) as an internet download only.
