KILLERS 'ARE THE 'NEXT U2'

Rockers THE KILLERS are determined to be more successful than U2 - insisting the Irish band will have to surrender their place at the top of the music "pedestal".
Frontman Brandon Flowers admits he is a big fan of the One hitmakers, but feels it is time for the ageing musicians to be replaced as one of the world's most successful bands.
And the singer is convinced that The Killers will be able to topple the legendary group.
He says, "(We can replace U2 on the top) pedestal. They're getting old. You know there's going to be a couple of songs on (their) new record you're just going to love. But there's gotta be... I dunno. It feels like it's time."

No one will ever be the next U2. I don't care how old they get. Isn't it funny that songs they written when they were just out of their teen years, some still only teenagers are still relevant today, as the songs that they will write in their twilight years will also stay relevant "Until The End Of The World". I can listen to "Beautiful Day" and know that it is no matter what the world throws at me. And I realize That "Sometimes You Can't Make It On Your Own" which brought me back to my faith. I know that I can cast my cares on God, and He can be my strength. And when my time on this earth is over I'll be in Heaven singing with God "Where The Streets Have No Name", no more sorrow or pain---Slaine Castle version---,and I could go on, and on, and on, and that's why "I Will Follow" U2, with "Yaweh", and "40" humming in my brain. God Bless, Robyn
