KILL HANNAH LOSE $120,000 OF EQUIPMENT IN VAN THEFT

Rockers KILL HANNAH have scrapped their U.S. tour after thieves stole their tour van.
The cult Chicago, Illinois, act were close to wrapping up their current tour with Jet and Papa Roach on Wednesday (11Nov09) when their 15-passenger van and 14-foot trailer were stolen in front of their hotel in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
The band lost over $120,000 (£75,000) in gear and merchandise, including one-of-a-kind vintage custom guitars and vintage custom effects. The theft comes just over a year after a devastating fire in Europe destroyed everything on the band's bus.
Lead singer Mat Devine tells WENN, "We're devastated and speechless. We've been touring so hard around the world for the past seven years and this is the most evil thing we've witnessed. Special Crimes say this was a co-ordinated heist."
As a result, the band has been forced to cancel their remaining tour dates. Their seventh annual New Heart For Xmas weekend of shows and events in Chicago on 18 and 19 December (09) are still scheduled.
The band is asking fans with information about the whereabouts of their stolen gear, which includes an Epiphone Elitist Riviera Custom Shop guitar and a 1992 Ernie Ball Music Man Stingray Bass, to contact their management company, Davis Artist Management.
