KILL BILL BOX SET WITH NEW ANIMATED FOOTAGE IN PRODUCTION
Quentin Tarantino is producing a super-deluxe Kill Bill DVD box set featuring new animated footage, according to Uma Thurman.
Tarantino has in the past promised fans that two new anime companion films would be present in the DVD set, known as The Whole Bloody Affair.
Speaking to MTV recently, Thurman said: "Right now [Quentin] is putting the two films together with an intermission with an added anime sequence he had already written."
"So, additional stories are in there, in animation".
Thurman added that the new footage had nothing to do with her character in the films, The Bride.
"It has to do with another character," she said, leading fans to speculate the animation will involve David Carradine's character Bill.
Thurman as always was full of praise of Tarantino's work, claiming, "His anime stuff is strong".
Tarantino is reported to also be working on his next film Inglorious Bastards, set for release in 2010.
The film is set in the second world war and follows a band of US solders who are facing the firing squad and sent on a suicide mission into Nazi-occupied France.
