KIDMAN'S ADOPTION SOURCE PLANS TO SUE

The Vietnamese dignitary who was credited with breaking NICOLE KIDMAN and KEITH URBAN's baby adoption news is planning to sue the Aussie magazine behind the scoop - insisting he was misquoted.
New Idea editors ran with the story after reportedly talking to Dang Minh Dao, an official at the Department of International Adoption at the Ministry of Justice in Hanoi.
He was quoted as saying, "Nicole Kidman wants a baby from Vietnam. We've been approached by the American Embassy."
But a rep for Kidman, who shares custody of two adopted teenagers with ex-husband Tom Cruise, has insisted the reports are not true.
And now Dang Minh Dao is taking aim at the publication and seeking legal advice.
He tells the Sydney Daily Telegraph newspaper, "I am very angry. I did not say such a thing... I am not responsible for adoption decisions."
And he insists the only conversation he had had with anyone concerning Kidman came from a person claiming to be a lawyer representing her.
He tells the newspaper, "About a week ago someone called me long distance, a foreigner, who said they were a lawyer. I was very surprised."
A spokesman for the publication claims the story was offered to New Idea by a freelance journalist who claimed to have travelled to Vietnam to research it.
