KID ROCK TREATS BEATEN PIZZABOY

Hard-living musician KID ROCK showed his softer side when he handed over $1,500 (£1,000) to pizzaboy who was beaten while out on a delivery.
The rapper/rocker was moved when he heard the story of 28-year-old Harry Colyer, a deliveryboy in Cinncinnati, who had been attacked by thugs and beaten with a brick and a wooden plank.
Colyer underwent emergency surgery to reconstruct his cheekbone and nose and suffered partial loss of hearing in one of his ears.
And after Kid Rock read about the terrible incident in The Cincinnati Enquirer newspaper, he felt obliged to offer the victim a slight pick-me-up - a present of $1,500.
The star's spokesman, Nick Stern, confirmed the generous gift, and stated the musician likes to "quietly help people in need".
