KID ROCK TO ROCK AT TWO-DAY BLOCK PARTY

KID ROCK is turning a forthcoming pair of performances in his home state of Michigan into a massive street party.
The rocker has announced plans to host a two-day bash after selling out a brace of shows at Comerica Park on the 17 and 18 of July (09) in his native Detroit.
The star has invited wannabe rockers to compete in a battle of the bands contest on the streets near the venue, and he will even host a chili cook-off and a car show.
Kid Rock will be joined by Alice In Chains and Cypress Hill for the concerts.
