KID ROCK SETTLES BATTERY LAWSUIT

LATEST: KID ROCK has been fined and sentenced to probation after pleading no contest in a battery lawsuit, following a fight in a Waffle House last year (07).
The star, real name Robert Richie, and five members of his entourage were arrested and charged with misdemeanour battery after an October (07) brawl in a Duluth, Georgia restaurant.
The rocker's sentence includes a $1,000 (GBP500) fine, one year probation, six anger management classes and 80 hours of community service.
After initially entering a not guilty plea in March (08), Richie admitted he was embarrassed by the brawl, and paid a visit to one of the restaurant's chains to greet fans at a Waffle House fundraiser.
