KID ROCK JAILED IN SWITZERLAND

KID ROCK had plenty of time to think about his feelings for PAMELA ANDERSON before he proposed to her earlier this month (JUL06) - from inside a Montreux, Switzerland jail. The rocker found himself incarcerated after police assumed he was caught up in a brawl in his hotel room, which left a reveller injured. The singer, real name ROBERT RITCHIE, was in town to perform at the Montreux Jazz Festival on 30 June (06) - two days before he joined PAMELA ANDERSON in St Tropez, France to celebrate her birthday. The couple recently announced they had rekindled their romance and were tying the knot on 29 July (06) in the French resort town. Kid Rock was released from jail the same day and plans to use the events from the night to write a new song. He jokes, "I just gotta figure out what rhymes with Switzerland!"
