Khloe Kardashian's fiance, basketball player Lamar Odom, has denied he is marrying her on Sunday (27.09.09).

Despite the last-minute wedding between the US socialite and basketball player Lamar Odom being confirmed by Khloe, both her fiance and mother have claimed to be unaware it is happening.

When approached on Tuesday (22.09.09) neither Khloe, 25, nor Lamar, 29, would comment on their nuptials, and when asked about Sunday, Lamar replied: "What's on Sunday?"

Meanwhile, Khloe's mother, Kim, pretended to be shocked when asked about the wedding.

She said in mock surprise: "Khloe and Lamar are getting married? Shocking!"

Khloe and Lamar are tying the knot after dating for just one month and the ceremony is being put together at such short notice, guests are being telephoned to alert them to look out for invitations arriving in the post.

The couple went ring shopping last weekend and decided to press ahead with their plans after Khloe found the perfect band.

Organising the shock wedding so quickly has left some of the wedding guests in a panic, as they rush to get presents and dresses ready for the big day.

Jewellery designer Brittny Gastineau, a close friend of Khloe's, said: "I'm running out now to buy a gown! I have no idea what I'm going to get. I have to get something ASAP. I'll go to Beverly Hills somewhere.

"I haven't gotten a wedding gift yet either."

Also expected at the ceremony is 'American Idol' host Ryan Seacrest, Lamar L.A. Lakers teammate Kobe Bryant and publicists Simon Huck and Jonathan Cheban.
