KERRY KATONA SAYS SHE'S CLEAN

Ex-Atomic Kitten singer Kerry Katona has said her well-documented drug problems are behind her.

The 27-year-old mother of three admitted she began taking cocaine after her marriage to former Westlife star Brian McFadden ended, with the extent of her drug abuse emerging when her mother Sue told the News of the World how Katona would take daughters Molly, six, and Lilly-Sue, four, to school before snorting the drug.

However, Katona, now pregnant with her fourth child, has told that her drug problems are firmly in the past.

"I'm sorted," she told the Mirror. "I realised I was going down the wrong road, went to rehab and got myself sorted. People try to get you back on it so I've moved away now.

"Some days I'm all whoo, on a high and people think I'm on cocaine because I'm like that on the telly."

The star of the Iceland adverts was told last month that she had lost her baby, but discovered just a day later that a miscarriage had been wrongly diagnosed.

"Kerry went back into hospital for a medical procedure," her publicist Max Clifford explained.

"However, a blood test revealed surprising results – her pregnancy hormones had gone up, not down. Kerry was taken for a second scan and was shown her baby's 3mm heart beat.

It has emerged that the misdiagnosis was a result of an incorrect assessment of Katona's due date - she was only five weeks pregnant, not seven to eight, as previously thought.

Clifford added: "She is still at risk of complications - however she and Mark (Croft, her husband) are ecstatic that she is still pregnant with their baby."

The couple flew to Italy earlier this month for a lavish wedding blessing and have a seven-month-old daughter together, named Heidi.
