KERRY CONFESSES TO SMOKING

Kerry Katona has admitted that she is still smoking and enjoying alcoholic drinks despite being four months pregnant.

The former ATOMIC KITTEN singer told Star magazine: "I was smoking 20 a day before I was pregnant and I've cut down to one."

She added that she doesn't think "a couple of puffs" will make much difference to the health of her baby.

But the Foundation for the Study of Infant Death warned that smoking during pregnancy can increase the risk of cot death.

"Many women who smoke find it difficult to quit, but it's important that they know the harm it can cause as an incentive for giving up," director Joyce Epstein told the Sun.

The baby will be Kerry's fourth, her second with husband Mark Croft. She also has two daughters from her marriage to WESTLIFE's Brian McFadden.
